Chittenden County Road Conditions

The Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the 18 municipalities of the Chittenden County region. Each year, the CCMPO oversees about $30 million in transportation investments.

The Chittenden County Transportation Authority operates the region’s public transit buses and provides more than 1.8 million rides per year in the Burlington area. CCTA has a forty-seven bus fleet and has five member municipalities: Burlington, Essex, Shelburne, South Burlington, and Winooski.
